Here you will find answers to any questions that are frequently asked! If you do not see an answer to a question you have, please reach out to the Bride or Groom directly, or you can email macartneymorriswedding@gmail.com!
Are children welcome?
The couple has decided to keep this an adult-only event (18+), with select exceptions made for those closest to the bride and groom. Thank you for your understanding.
Is there a colour scheme for the wedding?
In keeping with the fall wedding theme, the bride and groom are asking attendees to have fun and partake in a fall-coloured colour scheme! Below are several colour options that fit within our theme - please select whatever colour from this palette that you prefer! The couple requests that you refrain from bright or neon colours or any white/off-white/ivory colours when selecting your wardrobe. Thank you for your understanding and participation!
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the event is formal wear, while following the above colour scheme. For those of you who may not be familiar with the formal wear dress code, the image below has been provided!
Can I bring a plus one?
Plus ones will be indicated on the invites. If you do not receive a plus one, you will not be able to bring a date. If you have any concerns, please contact the bride or groom, or use our wedding email: macartneymorriswedding@gmail.com
Where can I park?
The venue has a large parking lot which is free for guests to use. For those of you who wish to drink, overnight parking is available, pending that the vehicle is retrieved by 10:00am on September 28, 2025.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitted. However, the cocktail hour and reception are indoors at the lovely Lodge location at Strathmere.
Is it okay to take pictures/videos with our phones or cameras?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and to share the memories with us!
However, we ask that you please respect an unplugged ceremony and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Please also avoid posting on social media until October 1, 2025.
