This photo marks the start of something beautiful. The couple just finished their first date festivities which included mini putt, gelato, a walk, and Sarah losing her purse. Ryan still stuck around to help her get it back the next day, and for the rest of their lives!

After dating for a few months, Ryan took Sarah to his favourite place in the world - Mont Tremblent, QB!

After learning Sarah could not travel home to visit her family for Christmas, Ryan invited Sarah to spend it with his family. This also began their annual gingerbread house making tradition!

Sarah and Ryan shared a out-of city move together, where they spent a year living in Hamilton, ON. This was a big step for them both and has helped them become the people they are today!

Ryan got to pick the costume this year - is anyone at all surprised?

Ryan built Sarah a care package as he travelled to Alberta for a month. To date, this is the longest Sarah and Ryan have spent apart, but it made their relationship stronger!

Sarah got to take Ryan to show him where she grew up - Wawa/Chapleau, ON. This included a stop at her favourite place in the world, Lake Superior, as well as Ryan learning how to chop wood!

Here is their first Christmas in their new home! Since having their own space, the couple hosted Christmas Day Dinner, which included Sarah's first try at making a turkey. It was delicious!

Ryan watched Sarah get her degree from the University of Ottawa! Little did she know, this was the start to the biggest weekend of her life!

What was originally staged as a "Graduation Party" lead to one of the greatest days of the couple's lives. Ryan proposed to Sarah in front of their closest family and friends. Spoiler Alert: Sarah said YES!

Following their new engagement, Sarah watched her fiancé walk the stage to get his degree from Carleton University!

Ryan planned a surprise party for Sarah to make one of her ultimate dreams come true - to have a roaring 20s themed birthday! He even dressed up!

The couple checked some big “to dos” off the list today! Almost one year out from I do!
